This November, we're coming together to help put food on tables and hope in our communities.
Food is more than nourishment. It brings people together, strengthens families, and provides the foundation for healthy, thriving communities. Yet, for a growing number of Ontarians, putting nutritious food on the table is becoming increasingly difficult.
At Kindred, food security is one of our social impact priorities. We're committed to helping build communities where everyone has access to safe, nutritious, and culturally appropriate food. We also know that meaningful change happens when we work together. That's why we're excited to launch our 4th Annual Fall Food Drive, taking place November 1–30, 2026, at all eight Kindred branches!
Over the past three years, your generosity helped raise an incredible $190,000, along with donations of non-perishable food items, to support local organizations addressing food insecurity in all our branch communities.
Throughout November, all Kindred branches will collect monetary donations and non-perishable food items for local organizations working to address food insecurity. To help your generosity go even further, Kindred will match monetary donations up to $3,000 per branch, helping to increase the impact of every dollar contributed.
Each of our eight branches is supporting an organization making a meaningful difference in its community:

Whether it's a few cans of food, a financial contribution, or simply encouraging others to participate, every act of generosity matters. From November 1–30, visit your local Kindred branch to drop off a donation and help make food security a reality for more of our neighbours. Together, we can help ensure that more families have access to the food they need, today and into the future.
