Reflections on My First 100 Days as CEO
By Jason Daly
To our members, team members, and community: thank you. Your warm welcome has been nothing short of energizing. In December, I reached 100 days with Kindred, and through that time I’ve been inspired by your passion and dedication to serving members as a trusted guide, not just a financial institution. It’s been a remarkable start to a journey I’m grateful to be on.

Kindred Shares Profits with Members!

Kindred is pleased to share our 2024 earnings with members through Profit Shares again this year! Over the years, we’ve returned millions to members as part of our commitment to cooperative banking.
We uphold our core value of stewardship by sharing a portion of our annual profits — not only with our communities but also directly with our members. Each year, the amount is calculated based on members’ deposit and loan business, with all members receiving a minimum of $5.
Your Profit Shares will be deposited in the coming weeks. Stay tuned for more information about how much we’re sharing for 2024!
Kindred Credit Union Charitable Fund Announces 2025 Grant Recipients
After reviewing 100+ applications requesting over $950,000 in funding, the committee thoughtfully selected 17 organizations across our branch communities to receive a total of $160,206 in funding.
In recognition of the increasing financial support needed by charities and community organizations, and in celebration of Kindred’s 60th anniversary, we are pleased to contribute an increased level of funding this year. Each selected organization actively inspires peaceful, just, and prosperous communities within our social impact themes:
- Housing;
- Hunger; and
- Mental Health.
Including the 2025 recipients, the Kindred Charitable Fund has allocated over $1.62 million in support of 202 congregations and charitable organizations since its inception in 1999. These organizations have used the grants to support 408 projects that positively impact people and communities across Ontario.

A Year of Growth, Giving, and Gratitude!
Our journey has always been about more than banking—it’s about connecting values and faith with finances to inspire peaceful, just, and prosperous communities. As we celebrated 60 years of “Making Peace with Your Money,” we looked back with gratitude for the trust and partnership of our members, whose deposits help fund others’ dreams.
In 2024, we marked a major milestone with meaningful celebrations that reflected our commitment to serving our members and local communities
